Madrid Investment Attraction (MIA), in collaboration with the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, hosted the Madrid International Tech Matching Day, a forum focused on how geopolitics, international trade, and emerging economic scenarios are reshaping corporate internationalisation strategies.

The event brought together institutional representatives, chambers of commerce, and companies from strategic sectors to share perspectives, experiences, and opportunities in an increasingly dynamic and competitive global context.

The institutional opening featured Ms. Engracia Hidalgo, Delegate for Economy, Innovation and Finance of the Madrid City Council, and Mr. Ángel Asensio Laguna, President of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, who highlighted the importance of strengthening public-private collaboration to enhance Madrid’s international competitiveness.

The programme included a keynote speech by Jaime García-Legaz, who addressed the main geopolitical, trade, and economic challenges currently redefining the international environment.

The event also featured participation from several international chambers and institutions, including the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Spain, the Franco-Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain (AHK Spain), and the Australia New Zealand Spain Business Association.

In addition, companies such as Cavok Spain, Somnox, ISID, and NOMAD Solar Energy shared their experiences in internationalisation, innovation, and business growth, showcasing Madrid’s role as a platform for global expansion and investment.
