Madrid strengthens the connection between talent, innovation, and technology to transform the city through data.
The city of Madrid reaffirms its commitment to innovation in artificial intelligence and data by hosting Activa DATA & AI Madrid 2025 on November 13 at the Galileo Center Auditorium. This annual flagship event, organized by the Big Data & AI Madrid Cluster with the support of the Madrid City Council’s Department of Economy, Innovation, and Finance, aims to consolidate the capital’s position as a leading hub transforming the city through data.
Activa DATA & AI Madrid 2025 promotes talent and public–private collaboration by bringing together institutional representatives, technology industry leaders, professionals from the public and private sectors, and academic experts to analyze progress, share experiences, and strengthen cooperation around the strategic use of artificial intelligence and big data across multiple fields.
The event gathers public administrations promoting digitalization, open data, and smart services; technology companies developing AI- and data-driven solutions; ethical and legal frameworks that regulate responsible data and AI usage; and citizens who interact with AI-based services and constantly generate data.
The event features participation from some of the world’s most important tech companies, including Microsoft, Google, AWS, and IBM, who will share their strategic vision and applied use cases—highlighting Madrid’s role as a hub for digital innovation.
In addition to panel discussions with experts in key verticals for the future, the event will include sector-specific networking spaces to connect industry leaders in science, talent, and capital; matchmaking and collaboration labs between startups, scaleups, investors, and corporations to foster investment agreements and co-development projects; and inspirational talks addressing topics such as talent and investment attraction, ethics, and inclusion.
